NYSUT ED 14 Meeting

You are invited to our Fall ED 14 meeting, which will take place on Wednesday evening, March 13, 2024 at Pearl River Elks, 204 Elks Dr. Nanuet, NY 10954. The cost is $50 per person. There will be a buffet with 3 choices: beef, chicken, or vegetarian.
We have invited our new Executive Vice President, Jaime Ciffone, to be our guest speaker. If you have not yet met Jaime, she brings a wealth of experience to the table, having dedicated 21 years of her career working for the New York City Department of Education. Her experience includes nine years as an ENL classroom teacher and six years as a school-based Literacy/Instructional Coach.
In her new position as EVP, she is the point person for our advocacy efforts with the State Education Department and Board of Regents. Since the meeting is just for ED 14, there will be plenty of time for Q & A about all things NYSUT related.
The meeting will start at 5 PM, but feel free to arrive early to socialize. Payments need to be made by credit card or a check made payable to the Rockland Teachers’ Center Institute.
