These courses are available for in-service credit, not graduate credit. District approval may be required.
Incorporating the MST Standards into the Curriculum--Online--3 Inservice Credits
Participants will develop units of study that meet the state learning standards. The needs, interests, abilities, and learning styles of diverse learners will be determined and applied to facilitate the learning process. A range of teaching/learning methods, media, and instructional technology will be selected that enhance and individualize activities for diverse learners. At the end of the course, each educator will leave with lesson plans ready to be utilized in his/her classroom. The course will align with the NTE standards. Course runs through November 9, 2010. NYS Learning Standard: MST.

NYSTC Online Academy
All courses require access to the internet and comfort level with email, Microsoft Word and uploading documents. Some require knowledge of other technologies or programs. Teachers are expected to log into and work with the class site at least 3 times each week.
